Of course I Love You...! Review...

This novel is based on a college boy who has dated and bedded many girls till he found true love in a girl named Avantika. But he went in depression as Avantika is forced to leave him. His life turns around he was kicked out of the college placements so he starts working at a government office. He there finds a true friend Amit, He helped Amit to confess his love to Astha. At last Deb and Avantika got together although they had to face hard times.

Unlike Chetan Bhagat, Durjoy datta’s books have weak motivation and aim. Weak storyline. It’s all about being a stud or sexy as long as the book counts. Weak plot seems to be dutta’s specialty. I don’t know how this book made the national bestseller! This one is super slow and dragging. Low kicks is what I’d say about datta’s ideas and imagination. He thinks his sex-words are the best. With the unwitting humor and explanations, it seems he’s trying to compete with western erotica’s. This is not even semi-erotica. The presentation is broken mostly and it’s hard to understand what is going on sometimes.

Datta writes without an aim. This book was simple with no story at all. All for unmemorable story, if there is any, and just pleasure reading.(without any pleasure overall)It’s like he’s a terrible story teller.
Anyway, I enjoyed some parts of the book.Especially the last part. And had a 2 points to learn about boys. The last part was a blast. As if he just wanted to finish off the story as soon as possible.
The story is not complicated, and you might just want to go with the flow. Lock your grey matter somewhere and take off your thinking caps, else it may annoy you. The authors have made an effort to pen down stories of college days, affairs, late night parties, behavior of hostilities, so called relationships and the never-ending list of the youth’s desires, which may seem to be a replica of everybody’s college life. The climax will make you smile, for two reasons. One, it’s a happy ending like in Bollywood movies. Two, the tedious book ends, without creating a pressure on your minds!

The language is candid; most of the lingo are often heard in Delhi campuses. Since this is a book for the youth, or let’s say college teens, they would feel close to it.  Deb and Avantika look like “Today’s youth”.
